Dodge Charger
The Dodge Charger, a practical full size sedan with amazing performance. So you may ask, what is this potential? How about a SRT8 with a 6.1L Hemi in it? Or maybe you’re a bit more practical and would like an R/T with a 5.7 Hemi putting out 368-372 HP? Maybe you want AWD for that traction? However, what if you don’t want that? No PROBLEM! Maybe you need space? Maybe you just like the style of the car? Maybe you need the space that the Dodge Charger offers? Truth is the Dodge Charger covers all of those and more!
Dodge has created a truly exceptional full size sedan. First off you got AWD option in the SXT and R/T models. On top of this you got three engine choices(seen below in chart). Not only that, but for 2009 Dodge even adjusted the 5.7 Hemi to get better fuel economy. You can’t forget the room either, it’s just downright astounding.
The Dodge charger also has a wide selection of trims allowing you to best pick which one will suit your needs(SE, SXT (AWD OR RWD), R/T (AWD OR RWD), SRT-8) .Of course you have your various options throughout the trim level as well, giving you even greater customization.
The SE is your standard Dodge Charger with the same look. It comes with a 4 speed automatic coupled to the 2.7V6. You get standard AC, keyless entry, cruise, power windows(and of course more). So needless to say it’s reasonably equipped and exceptionally priced.
Then you have the SXT which comes better equipped and with more power. It’s packing a 3.5V6 with 250 HP with plenty of get up and go. The SXT also gives you the option of AWD or RWD. It comes standard with ESP, automatic headlamps, and a power driver seat. It also opens lot of options to you.
Then you got the R/T which comes in several different styles. Its packing a 5.7L Hemi putting out at least 368-372 HP. You got the ever so popular Road and Track package which really sets off the Charger R/T in both performance and style. You of course also get more standard features as well. The higher more performance tuned suspension, or the heated wing mirrors. Leather seats which are of course heated. You then have various versions and packages which you can get.
Then you have the top gun of the group. The one with the massive 6.1L Hemi putting out an astounding 425 HP. The SRT-8s are produced by a separate sector of Chrysler. A section which pure motivation is make their cars go really fast. Both in straights and curves so if you feel the SRT8 is the way to go don’t hesitate and hop in and enjoy the thrill.
